Wow, this shyt is CRACK!

I always liked Dre’s R&B shyt. I bumped the Truth Hurts album likely more than most. It’s a shame they got sued over the Addictive sample, which really gimped that album.

Looking at the credit I wonder how they recoup after all the samples used

Will new original music ever exist

This not gonna do numbers, it's a passion project. Hope it's a sign Dre finally reached that stage where he willing to release music without worrying about hits and charts. He got enough plaques, just put out good music. He really killed it on this.

Questioned if this was an illmatic tribute after the first few tracks, its 30 years after all and NaS is a bit tired of celebrating it so... :yeshrug:

Right.. if I wanted to hear NY state of Mind or One Love for the 40th time I'd put on Illmatic. And after Mary J we never need another interpolation of "All night long" again. Yeah it sounds good.. but even "homage" has it's limits.
