There's a lot of obvious samples and interpolations of well known known hip-hop/rnb songs all over the album. For example, 3 different Nas songs gets sampled on 3 different songs (NY State of Mind/The World is Yours/One Love)

Ahhh yeah.

I liked that about the album but yeah I could see how that would be a bit too much.

The album starts off with a KRS-1 sample too.

It does feel like Dr. Dre used to break ground and set new trends and that's no longer the case.

I still think this is the best thing he's produced in about 20 years.

It’s straight. Nothing I will play constantly. Nothing like Silk Sonic.

Well its pretty much above status quo of whats coming out.. hell, he used a freakin orchestra. I think that is trend setting. Its not lazy production.

Too many interpolations. Songs don't have an identity of their own a lot of times.
I had the same take away. The concept is dope

But it reminds me of a full album of Amy Winehouse over the made you look beat

shyt sounded weird n forced in places

But was a good experience never the less

thrill her is flawless...

The way they replayed "in a sentimental mood" then had the instrumental play out at the end is godly.

had a pull it back several times on the first listen
