This is a really solid album. I'm big into R&B, I'm not going to over hype this as there has been better R&B this year, but it's more than a solid project. At times it feels a bit forced and trying too hard to push boundaries. But the production was cool and it has a nice sound.

Just my opinion, but the Nxworries album and the Lucky Daye album were both better than this.

Production is good, something different for a change. Marsha’s vocals is sharp.

Sonically no one is messing with Dre. Dude made a movie through instrumentals and vocals. It sucks that this album will sadly get overlooked because quite frankly....nobody listens to R and B like that anymore :francis:

A lot of releases are like that. It gets overlooked over other stuff. Dre can’t really save much artists unless it’s a big name that most know about.

I’m sorry, what on here is so strandout from dre that it deserves some limelight. It’s mixed and engineered amazingly but like…we’ve heard sl these samples and it’s not Marsha’s beat writing so….

The album rides but it’s not a must hear album for anyone besides fans (I’m a big Marsha fan)

Yeah if it was like mid 2000s, easy layup. The grim reality is that this album is too "old" for the youngins, too soulful for hip hop heads, and too hip hop for the R and B folks.

It's a conflicted mess of beautiful music.

F*cks with it. If only Sir's last album had more than a couple stand outs - my go to R&B playlist would of been a mix of that, this and Why Lawd.

Sir's album just felt like it was missing something. Like the ambition was there, but somehow the execution was kinda off.

Sadly one of the most forgettable albums this year.

Still need to listen to Why Lawd :lupe:
