I own a sandwich shop and we just started using door dash in the last couple months and I can tell u that the quantity of the food hasn't changed at all. Now the shop has been there for 30+plus years and I just took over 7 months ago and they never did any type of delivery before so its nice to offer that to people who cant get out all the time or who want to pay with a card cause we are cash only . Now the problem I've had on my side is sometimes "Dashers" dont get assigned right away on there end so food might sit a little bit but if its hot we keep it above the grill to keep it hot. We treat people who order food through door dash as we would treat regulars who come in cause we rely on regulars unlike bigger chains

Use seamless all the time. Also call the spot itself if i got the cash on me. They send there own people.

uber eats iffy. Better options. But further and has shady ass drivers. Wont even come to your door if they cant find parking.

But then again I aint ordering a 50 dollars steak to be delivered. So, if its thai or pizza i can always heat it up if its cold.

i cook usually or eat at moms or mother in laws crib most days.

also it sucks whenever they forget shyt even when it's small it be infuriating cause you can't call the restaurant or the driver to correct it...

like one time i ordered ihop and they forgot my toast ....can't call the restaurant cause they wont know about or cant do anything cause they arent associated with the driver....the driver already moved on...

only thing you can do is text the app and they credit you the amount....like i don't want 1.50 credit i want my god damn toast

This was an impossible task. If you like to eat shytty food that taste shiity and is fukking cold then it's fine. However, if you were expecting good food and for it to be hot then no way was it going to happen.

I asked them at Wendy's, I said hey you got delivery now :ohhh: then they told me yeah through door dash, I laughed. I said shyt can you imagine how terrible it's gonna be by the time it get to my house.

If they need more juice for another meal and the driver is here best believe they grabbing the nearest plate that was just used and getting what they can from it

Some of these apps have started adding fake restaurants to the app, when in reality it is just people cooking in some shipping container for the app only.

The former CEO of Uber is working on a new company doing just this, called CloudKitchens. Kitchens in shipping containers cooking just for the delivery apps.

There's reasons restaurants like Buffalo wild wings, Taco Bell, outback steakhouse and Applebees, Wendy's, Kfc, burger king, McDonald's never delivered.

Y'all gon learn tho.

Exactly.
