There is no reasonable contract in today's NFL for a good QB, let alone one than fits like a glove for a team's system. The way I see it there's two scenarios.

1.-We pay him that ridiculous contract and take a gamble on the playmakers that are under contract and pray we get an even better draft class than 2024 for the next two years.

2.-We don't pay him and pray for an even bigger miracle that we either draft 3 future All Pro-Pro Bowl level OLinemen -so any decent QB can get Ws in Kyle's system- or that we get another Brock in the draft.

I have more hope in scenario 1 than 2.

Nothing's reasonable, but there are better contracts than others. It's still crazy to pay him $60M. That is absolutely crazy. I will not be happy about a long term deal at that much. 4 years at $53M is insane but that is the ceiling to me.

yea, and those teams are regretting it. Trevor Lawrence got an "elite" contract and shouldn't have gotten it so we will do it with Brock? Deshaun's deal was atrocious. The team got bent over on these contracts. Will happen again.

Any QB that got a crazy deal, but never been to a SB, Never won an Conference Championship or even played in that game, barely took his team to a playoff or even been in the playoffs. Is definitely a bad contract

Niccas out here who may have passed for 6000 yards being called elite but have teams what went 6-11 (or worse) for years.

It's not justifying how he gets the big contract. It's what happens after the big contract is given out.

He's going to get the contract. The issue is what do they do after that because I'm not positive he can reach those levels if there are major holes on a team.
