It's not justifying how he gets the big contract. It's what happens after the big contract is given out.

He's going to get the contract. The issue is what do they do after that because I'm not positive he can reach those levels if there are major holes on a team.

Again, it's about what one believes is more realistic. Find ways to give Brock a new foundation to contend for a ring, or find a "new Brock" while at the same time also finding a new foundation for the new good QB that gets along with Kyle to succeed.

Both would be difficult as hell, but I'm on the latter side of the argument by a slim margin. Primarily because of the contracts we've already given out PLUS our GM's ability to find late draft steals VS how the players we have actually paid have turned out. We haven't gotten good ROI on the people we've signed to the bigger deals.

That said, it's all bloviating though on our part because he's getting the contract. They have paid almost every single player who's been up especially on offense.
