Yea but the front office should have stopped playing kiddie games and jumped in front of it and just gave him what he wanted. So he could have participated in camp. Not saying it's the reason he tore his ACL but it sure didn't help.

I think they are saying he would've gotten fleeced if he didn't sign an extension and tested free agency after this season. Considering his injury, he would've definitely gotten less money.
