This has been a terrible season. LA/Lebron made a terrible trade(Russ).....They gave up too much and it wasn't a good fit....They also gave up too many players without getting anything in return (Gasol, Caruso, Morris)...What they need to do now is make moves to correct the situation.
LA's main focus this offseason should be fixing AD and adding quality depth. Trading for a 45m per yr 3rd option would not be the smartest move...When healthy, Lebron/AD are 2 of the top 10 players in the league and arguably the best playoff duo........Russ has a 47m expiring contract that many teams will want to free up cap space. Trade Russ to a team/multi-team trade for multiple quality role players.
LA should revisit/revamp the trade with Houston...Offer Houston Russ & a 1st rd pk (top 5 protected) for Wood, Gordon & Schroder (Sign N Trade)...offer Schroder a 3 yr 7-10m per year deal as part of the SnT.
Let Nunn Walk, Offer Monk the MLE..........If Nunn is willing to take the minimum, then he can stay and come off the bench

There’s no fixing AD. They have to learn from the mistake they made with Pau. Trade him while he has value or let him walk for nothing when he’s completely washed. We don’t owe AD shyt. He can’t go 2 weeks without a 4-6 week injury. Dude is done. Not to mention he’s the worst jumper shooter in HISTORY(fact). His points come from lobs and dump offs.
