AD - shot like he never had in his career in the bubble; better individual stats in NO
Kyrie - ehhhh
Wade - come on now :comeon:
AD's regular season before the bubble was as good or better than any season he had with the Pelicans. Of course his raw stats are going to decrease playing with another star but he averaged 26 PPG on the highest efficiency of his career. Kyrie had the best playoff run of his career with Bron :yeshrug:

I was always against the Lakers having so many Klutch players on the roster. As a GM you put yourself in a position where you can't make the moves you want because you have to appease/cater to an agency. That being said, the Lakers would not have AD or an extra championship without Lebron/Klutch.......Lebron/Klutch definitely deserves blame for the construction of this roster. However, Palinka should've had some foresight and traded Harrell/Schroder before the deadline last season. Lebron/AD was hurt, Schroder had just turned down 20m per year, and there was only so much you could pay Harrell. Should've also traded Caruso or THT because you knew you couldn't re-sign both players. The Lakers should've punted last season. Palinka has done a poor job of asset management.

I also find it a little hypocritical how some people are bashing Bron for trading away draft picks when those same people wanted Kawhi. The same Kawhi who held the Clippers hostage until they traded a bunch of picks to get PG13...Both players are currently injured...At least the Lakers got a championship out of it, you can call it a Micky mouse ring if you want. but every team was playing under the same conditions.

The Lakers have 3 bigger problems than Lebron/Klutch

* Palinka being a mediocre GM
* Buss not wanting to spend money on the luxury tax.
* Lakers training staff...Too many injured players over the last 6 years

As for LA giving up more future picks. There's something called lottery protection. LA could trade that pick to Houston and lottery/top 10 protect it.

Things can turn around real fast with a couple of shrewd moves and a deep playoff run.

With Pelinko he's handicapped by Klutch. The right message was sent. AD and Bron wanted Russ so they need to make it work. Bron and Rich getting THT 10 million a year over? You know they had a hand in Melo as well. Can't fully judge him until we are done with Klutch and get our picks back.

Lakers training staff is trash.

I wouldn't spend money on the luxury tax for these nikkaz either. Giving up ANOTHER 1st rounder to package with Russ to get him out of here? Of course Bron wanted to make the move, but you also wanted him here. Again, MAKE IT WORK cause this is what YOU AND ADNP wanted

Jeanie not wanting to spend on luxury tax is a false narrative we have the 4th largest tax bill in the league dont act like the Lakers rejected a major, title winning trade because on luxury tax

It's been reported by multiple people that she doesn't want to spend further into the tax. She will carry the tax of 3 stars because of the branding and market value they bring to the table but spending around the edges is out of the question for her cheap ass.

What else explains not bringing Caruso back, for instance?

"Major, title-winning" trade, no. But it's spending on role players and 4th options and hiring decisions that separate good from bad owners.

As a new Laker fan my priority number one is Jeanie selling the team to Mohammed bin Salman or some Quatari prince who will pay 1 billi in luxury tax without breaking a sweat and hire the best people like they do at Man City and Newcastle in the English Premier League. Imagine Jerry West and his son returning :wow:

What about Kyrie:stopitslime:

If you know anything about Bron you’d know that dudes that can go get their own offense and shoot thrive next to Bron. Even Mo Williams did.

Garland would have actually fit great next to Bron because of his skillset.

List these players for me, Kyrie benefited because he was allowed to go 1:1 with attention on Bron. Otherwise not like Bron was giving him the ball in his spots if you not a 3-point shooter or a rim runner Bron ain't doing shyt for you. Look no further then Wade, Bosh, Love and you can probably add AD to the list

You want her to spend further and further into the tax on a team that isnt going to win shyt :dwillhuh: Want her to go into the tax overpaying THT AND Caruso :dwillhuh:

Even Dr Buss wasnt with moving like that.

She got Bron and went out and got two extra max stars. We're carrying a big tax bill like always when we're contenders but now we aren't.

Clown shyt :camby:You wont follow the Lakers another day once Bron leaves

According to KCP's wife Rich Paul told them they had a choice between Sacramento and Washington. They choose Washington because they were close to Bradley Beal. Bron and them would have been cool with either choice.

That's cause Rich still owe him $20 Million, he better check in cause KCP still got shooters on his neck :deadmanny:

Fukk outta here. You only see bron stans criticizing the front office. The Lakers aren't cheap or strapped for cash. They just decided not to double down on a dumb ass move coerced by Bron.
