Look at how Klutch sports has reacted this weekend, if you think they would be okay with not trading for Russ and doing something else then you are just being naïve
. Lakers didn't have many options, it was either to stay pat, trade for Hield or do a Russ trade. No one is doing that, we wanted Hield over Russ for one simple reason and that is salary and getting to keep some assets. Also moving on from Hield would be much easier than it is Russ.
Anybody bringing up DeRozan being here clearly does not understand the salary cap, trading for DeRozan would hard cap the salary meaning no caruso, monk, tht, etc.
for the get derozan crowd,

The Derozan shyt is the most annoying talk this season because it was not possible. Beyond that, there is zero chance he'd be playing like this next to LeBron.
