LeBron and AD should be able to keep the team in playoff picture till the trade deadline even with Westbrook, if they can't, its more about them than Westbrook. You will have a much better chance at trading Westbrook trade deadline than the summer. Also you will see if AD can stay healthy for half the season. I am not trading a single pick if AD is unable to stay healthy because it would be useless.
I wish they'd trade AD too. They could probably rape Atlanta in a trade if they made it this summer. Organization refuses to take a stand or make the tough decisions.

AD is the key. We know what we get from Bron. He'll be 25+ on high efficiency. It's time for AD to actually stay healthy, to finally be average again from 3, and from midrange.

I think that Darvin Ham and Stotts (if he's hired) can be able to unlock both of them more on the offensive end.

Anything from Russ is sprinkles at this point.

They gave up too much for AD, they are going to ride with him. There is some ego and pride involved, trading him this soon after all of that would be personal embarrassment for them.

Someone make next season's thread. I'm bracing myself for a Westbrook/CP3 swap. :unimpressed:

one of the biggest mistakes they’ll ever make, trading universally loved hero and fashion icon Russell Westbrook for washed up insurance Agent with passive aggressive tendencies

You have to trade Russ trash ass. Brogdon is ideal I don't really care for Hield I would try to move him to a 3rd team.

If you can get Russ and pieces for Brogdon and Hield, then that's the steal of the offseason. I don't see that happening before the season starts tho. I really wish I'm wrong

She really did, all that momentum from 2020 was completely scuttled with the Westbrook trade. Last season was more toxic than 2004 and that’s saying something. I hated last years Laker team more than any other. Bunch of gutless, heartless, pretentious losers.

Seeing Boston with a young hungry team while we’ve got an old squad with question marks is hard to get excited about. All that work to tie Boston and now they’re in prime position to add more titles while we’re stuck in basketball hell.

Glad we got Ham, I just hope we keep him past the Bron era cuz it feels like there’s no future at all right now and barely even a present. Jeanie has to do a lot to salvage things. We all hated cokehead, but I’ll give him credit for the CP3/Dwight scheme it was the league that fukked that plan up. Other than Bron (which was moreso Kobe/Magic + Bron’s off court endeavors than it was Jeanie) there has been nothing I can point to that’s been positive during the Jeanie era that was a direct result of her. AD was a Klutch move.

All they need to do is move Westbrook for some decent players and they are back in contention.

Trade THT as well.
