That's bullshyt, and something white supremacists have unfortunately taught us all to believe. My mother is Ethiopian, they got a whole lot of indigenous Africans there that are not mixed with anything that come out red bone. Africa is the most genetically diverse continent. What does it say about our society if we're led to believe that the only way we can turn out light skin is if we mix with the devil? Look at the Berber (Touareg), them nikkas is indigenous to Africa and they be comin out with light eyes and light skin, what that tell you? Somehow those exclusive nomadic tribes mixed with the French? They're proud as hell, you'll be hard pressed to find one that boasts about their French heritage especially with what they've experienced in North Africa.
What the fukk is good hair though? I'm getting a bad impression from you saying that, honestly. Maybe ya dad had less kinky more loose curls because he traces his ancestry to a group of people that have that phenotype. It doesn't attribute to white admixture. Peep the Hausa/Fulani, the look similar to Africans from the Horn. I have looser curls and less kinky hair than my father's side, and half siblings, but that's not cause I'm mixed it's cause it's the phenotype generally attributed to Ethiopians of Habesha origin (I don't know if I'm even getting that right I don't know much to be fair).
We gotta erase this thinking and be inclusive of all blacks, no matter what, cause once we abandon them they start running off to crackers and worse off with the ingrained white supremacy.
Did I say specifically white people = yellow babies
Northern African countries like Egypt, Ethiopa, etc have been at the center of tons of diasporas. It wasn't unusual for these societies to go from Eurasian to Nubians, later on Mediterranean influences.
I should not have said "good hair" but that is an accepted term, though evil, and so that is the best way to express hair that is straight or wavy, etc.
Man, Nubians did not have any of those traits. Tribes that traveled out of Africa (Arabs and Eurasians) established their own phenotype and at some point down the road, came back to conquer and mix with Nubian settlements (Egypt, Ethiopia, Somalia, etc)
I took tons of courses in Egyptology, I am aware of how the Northern African diaspora goes. Next time, I should be more specific.
now lets move on from this.
Even the genealogist can't decipher whether your blood was mixed post-slave era or pre-slave era...meaning, Africa is a huge diaspora and even before the slave trade their were many shades of black in Africa
I was going to post the same thing that's why I kept mentioning pre and post slavery. Obviously there's multitude of indigenous Africans with different skin tones
however, this is where things become less clear because Africa was the original melting pot of society
This is false. They can trace all the way back to your ancient lineage. Africa has tons of variety now but it was not so thousands of years ago. Egyptians during the time of Punt and Kemet described themselves and their location in line with Nubian tradition, later they would shift as outside forces came in and distorted that culture. This is pretty standard for all of those African countries and this is where you can trace all of that diversity you talk about.
