You get into all of these talks about nationalism when many countries have connections to racist whites all over.

No, that isn't what I am talking about. This particular issue, DR vs Haiti, is what I am covering. I keep the scope limited to
what they are doing.

I speak of nationalism because ....oh fukk it. Look, I googled the KKK thing and apparently what made it newsworthy was that
it was the first instance of that happening. There is more to it than simply racism, but I agree to disagree on this.

I am serious. It is very much the trend in TLR.
People can be mixed as all hell, but if the African ancestory isn't praised above all, there is a problem, self hate, etc.

In America we see race. Us vs them. Color vs Color. Around the world they are far more about culture and Nationalism.

Black Americans are people without a country, as in a lot of what America stands for happened to be born out of our suffering. It is ingrained in us

Race is race is race. Racism is racism is racism. While race is a societal construct, it is a real construct that has existed for centuries and has determined the individual and collective fates of many people throughout history.

I've conceded numerous times that the DR/Haiti beef isn't based solely on race. However, in Dominican society (much like others) race determines whether an individual belongs to a certain nationality or is an individual of particular social standing. So as much as you say it's down to nationalism in various countries/societies in the world, nationalism is rooted in racism also.

the list of the top 10 richest dominicans is filled with white dudes who are only 2nd or 3rd generation dominicans. like the vicini family. our politicians are in bed with all of them. we are victims of the same white supremacy structure as the rest of the world.

the difference is that most of the country is mixed. so to say a dark skinned dominican has any more of a chance than a light skinned one is not accurate because we are all negros to them since we are all dominicans and they are all "euro-dominicans"
