If we see God as more of universal creator who gives no fukks about us, and has left us to twiddle our thumbs, then it becomes more believable. So if we make "God" abstract, its completely viable. But believing in some invisible dude who cares what we do, and cares more about what we do naked? That's just stupidity to the nth.

Okay, you definitely went full Deepak. We can't measure the "soul" if there's even one to be had in the first place. "God" is a construct/concept. I think you read too deeply in the abbreviated E=MC, its all relative - to energy, not to consciousness and or any form of contextual consciousness.
