Seek help.

No, I have learned all the answers, its you who needs to wake up from this dream that you've become attached to.

And to answer the thread question, space is infinite in every direction because its not solid as you think, space is consciousness.

The Universe has been expanding since the BB (expanding space is evidence of the BB) and hasn't stopped (you can look up doppler shifts and universe expansion for more information).

As for the speed, there really aren't any external forces acting against a galaxy or star outside of gravity which tends to be weak.

As for the topic there are three competing theories:

1) if the density parameter is less than 1 the universe will expand forever. Star formation will lessen as a result.

2) if the density parameter is above 1 the universe will close in on itself

3) if the density parameter is equal to 1 no crunch or endless expansion.

Density parameter = actual density ÷ critical density

The critical density is the amount of density needed to close the universe. This all stems from the Friedmann equations, so you can look into that for more information.

But there is evidence given by super novas (check type 1A super nova) that the universe is accelerating in its expansion.

That is such a dumb statement.

This. Also its already been concluded that the universe is isotropic aka Flat space (not flat like a mat but flat like a quarter). Fun fact; There are only 10 ^ 80 particles in the observable Universe, so that’s much less than the possible configurations of matter in a cubic meter. If the Universe is truly infinite, if you travel outwards from Earth, eventually you will reach a place where there’s a duplicate cubic meter of space. The further you go, the more duplicates you’ll find.

The biggest problem the universe face of course, is that heat is slowly (very very very slowly) losing heat. So it looks like Big Freeze of False Vacuum....I'm leaning toward Vacuum.

There could also be an infinite amount of universes too...just like atoms in our universe
