Ill use some common sense for everyone here, if you are wondering if a game, a movie, an investment, anything, broke even after spending $250 million on it, its probably a flop.

Horizon is an interesting game in that I think both games were really good. The VR game looked really good as well. But it's just something about it that doesn't FEEL grand. I don't know if it's because it's a first party exclusive, but it feels like it should be bigger than it is.

The DEVELOPMENT cost was $212 million not including marketing cost which this game had super bowl and nba all star ads, bringing the cost closer to $250-300 million range.

A lot of units were in PS5 bundles, discounted PC sales (the game is only $20 on PC), discounted holiday PS5 sales, etc.

I say it over and over again, most Sony stans here are financially illiterate.
