Were people as hyped on Nas when he came out? I'm not gonna speak on classics, but I'm wondering if Nas had the commercial success Kendrick does? I was young and on the West Coast

Nas first 8 albums all went platinum.It Was Written spent four weeks at number 1. I am sold 450K first week and outsold Hov’s Vol. 3. Nas in his prime was one of the most consistently selling rappers from IWW-Streets Disciple.
