The hate is over blown. Season 6 gets probably the most hate because of how depressing Buffy's circumstances are, but it's still my favorite season.

But not gonna lie seasons 2 & 3 go crazy.

I always liked Angel more but it's just a personal preference thing. The highs of Angel are just as high as Buffy's imo, especially when they basically sent all the characters in Buffy hated over and they actually did interesting shyt with them Angel. That said the entire middle section of Angel sucks, all the baby shyt is awful. So chunks of s3 and 4 feel bad. Great final season though.
