I wanna see where they take this possible "alternate earth" thing and the master's "everything you know is a lie"

The Doctor seems to recognise where she has ended up. I'm wondering is it some sort of simulation inside the Matrix. It was touched upon during Capaldi's first series but hasn't really been seen properly since the 80's when it was part of the Doctor's Trial on Gallifrey.

:ohhh: it would make sense with them using old school stuff.

Why target spies and the point of VOR will be interesting.

I didn’t catch that the house was a Tardis cause I was so confused. Lol

I felt bad for Yaz when she was talking to Ryan. It feels like they are setting up for someone to leave.

Just watched the 2nd part.
Great again. Tried to freeze the video to see the brief glimpse of the timeless child thing but it was very blurry. Couldn't make out if they were Timelord robes but probably are.

The Master properly fukked up Gallifrey. The Daleks didn't even cause that much damage! I want a Home Grenade.

I got a bit of a Curse Of Fatal Death vibe from the Master after being imprisoned for ages then immediately again.

[larry june] goddamn. :wow: [/larry june]

BBC mustve told Chibnall to stop fukking around... cause he aint fukking around.

And while I loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvve Missy to death (I got a thing for the type, see Tess Mercer from Smallvile, Alice Morgan from Luther, Lilah Morgan from Angel, Servalan from Blake's 7)... THIS is the Master we deserve. No prancing around like a jester, no cackling hee hee haw haws.... just intelligence and barely contained rage. An insanity that oozes. This that Delgado/Jacobi Master that we got robbed of when Simm got introduced. Props to them for not waiting 10 years to bring The Master back, and props to Sacha Dhawan for NAILING the role.

The companions got a chance to shine on their own and it wasn't bad (Graham's laser shoes notwithstanding). Though Yaz starting to remind me of 5th Doctor Companion Tegan... right before she got tired of dat Doctor life and said a'aight I'ma head out.

But if it's running like my conspiracy theory driven mind is saying (Capaldi was the true reboot, and his life was Doctors 1-4, this is life 5 with 3 companions starting out)... and Yaz is Tegan... then which companion is Audric right now? Ryan? Does that make Graham Nyssa? :heh:

I'd also like to note that this is the 2nd time someone has literally had 13 by the throat and she smiled through it. There's something dark under there. With this Gallifrey shyt, we might just see it. Notice how her copying Tennant is GREATLY toned down here, too. She's coming into her own.

I don't know if it's hype or what, but I swear these two eps were damn near better than the whole of last series. Can't you tell how impressed I am? It's been damn near 3 years since I typed a Doctor Who related review like this.

And it feels great.

See y'all next week.

The Doctor could visit anytime though. I think Susan's son, Alex( I think), travelled with the Doctor for a story or two.

yeah, but she never regenerated to my knowledge. Last time he saw her it was during that almost world ending period where the Daleks wrecked earth in the 22nd century. The Doctor avoids this period. He tried to stop her from fighting in the Time War, but he didn't even see if he succeeded.

11th said she was lost, so who knows.
