Amy/Rory are still loved

It feels like River Song lost a lot of luster with fans after her first few appearances.

And the Clara hate definitely coincidences with a certain downtrend in the show.

I thought Clara/12 were great but it does feel like Moffat was repeating a lot of his hits by the end of his run.

That Clara downtrend was really Amy/Rory/River leaving, then fans leaving the show because The Doctor was "an old man". That first ep didn't really help. But you got "Into The Dalek" right after, so their loss

Unpopular opinion but I loathed Amy Pond.

This was an okay episode. They wasted no time putting that base under siege :mjlol:

Ep was... tense,, but not intense if that makes sense. Felt like a ramped up 10th/Davies ep, really

Between Ryan flirting with broads and having her hopes and dreams dashed, Yaz gonna get fed up. Hate that, too, cause I like looking at Yaz. :takedat:

Bella was out there looking like Martha's lil sister, though :takedat:

The Doctor ALMOST felt like her own Doctor this ep. Maybe it was because she was really just bouncing around doing Doctor-y things. Though it was nice that the fam called her out on being angsty early in the ep, then she was rather... short with folks during the ep. Not that they didn't deserve it, but last season she was very "whimsy through the pain". Actually there was no "pain".

Also note this was the first time we see her get choked and she doesn't like it :mjlol:

The weird shyt:

Social Commentary was a bit heavy handed

Editing was off? "What happened to you?" "It threw me!" Next thing you know, she's standing up? Okay.

Did I miss something where The Doctor went back and that monster was sorta just..... standing there with it's eyes closed? What was that?

"Please shoot me. :sadcam:" ......................................................:yeshrug:

Sill better than the far greater majority of last season, so I'm satisfied.

I was shocked with how the episode ended. I expected that once The Docter and Crew were back on the Tardis that they would teleport over and rescue Kane and her daughter.
Them just basically being like :yeshrug:seemed odd.

Imagine if all the times The Doctor took someone to see some place/Earth/the universe in shambles or about to end, he was like ":hubie: don't be sad, this is just a 'possible' timeline! It can be changed!" just to spare their feelings :mjlol:

Dude killed his Tesla portrayal

You can't tell me that these scorpion aliens aren't related to The Racnoss some kinda way

I'm in love with Yaz

Another ep of Jodie feeling more like her own Doctor. I gotta rewatch, but did she threaten to wipe those aliens out?

Another good ep.

I was quite surprised that the Racnoss didn't even get a fleeting mention. Scorpions and Spiders are related here on Earth so it's plausible that they would be in Who.

I've no real feeling toward Yaz or Ryan. I reckon Yaz is going to leave or at least seriously consider it by the end of this series. I think it would have been a lot better if it had just been Graham and the Doctor.

Thought Anjli Mohindra was really great as Queen Skithra. A very scenery chewing performance and still leaves her open to a return as Rani at some point in the main show although highly unlikely.

Great to see Robert Glenister as Edison. A lot older than he was the last time he was in the show!

A new trailer was released the other day as well.
