FYI 13th Doctor trailer out on the 18th with World Cup supposedly

All unfounded Twitter rumours used for attention. See also the rumour that Jack & Gwen are appearing in episode 1. Unfortunately Doctor Who fandom is infested with sad little people who take it all a little too serious. You only have to go on GallifreyBase to see how bad it is.

People are desperate for info due to Chibnall reigning in the leaks after the disastrous Monday era and therefore tweets are out en masse to bait people for likes and retweets.

Lizo Mzimba who works for the BBC has shot it down. There will be a trailer soon enough but it's highly unlikely it will be during half time. Still looking at a late September/early October air date.

I've seen them all before but I suppose it's good for people to catch up on the older stories. You would have to have some stamina to sit watching it 24 hrs a day! Think they are repeating it a further twice.

I saw it before it went down. Post regeneration confusion made her definitely seem like 11 so I still want to see what happens when the Doctor calms down.

I think I said it here before, but I had the feeling that Capaldi's Doctor was more like a mesh of 1-4 character arc wise, this one might be 5-7.

Jodie might go 5. Sort of Normal with Three Companions (one dies)> 6. Darker>7. Darkest

It's prolly the safest route for a new showrunner with a new actress.

I can’t see them going dark in the first season with so much change already.

Moffat has left the Doctor guilt free moving forward so I think the three companions will follow the First Doctor story structure with the girl being a new Susan.

I think a lot will be riding on the villains being interesting.

Three companions has worked fine several times in the past. If anyone doesn't make it past this series it will be Bradley Walsh. He's busy all year round but has worked with Chibnall before on Law & Order UK and is a very capable actor. Amongst various other shows and radio projects he is also the presenter of The Chase which is arguably the biggest quiz show in the UK. It's also on in the US & Australia featuring a couple of the same Chasers.

The teaser was pretty pointless. Didn't tell me anything new. Trailer at SDCC hopefully. Although they tried that before a couple of times without releasing to the UK simultaneously and understandably was met with backlash. So it will no doubt be a worldwide release.

New sonic screwdriver looks very alien.

The trailer doesn't match the ones from Moffat era



But I'm interested more than I was in the later Capaldi era even though the episodes ended up being on point usually.

I stopped watching this back in 2010 when the 10th doctor left. I might get back into it though.
