I'm only halfway finished with this ep...

But as soon as Bill opened the curtains and looked outside, I thought I knew exactly where they were. I thought I knew exactly WHEN they were, but that doesn't make any sense. that shyt was/is bleak:mjcry:

Well that's it :to: the Doctor can't possibly survive this one, he had a good 2,000 plus year run. You were a real one doc...

:mjcry:I'll be listening to the audiobooks to keep the memory strong :sadbron:

If you're listening to the ones on Spotify, you should listen to the one titled "Spare Parts" after this.

edit: I was right.

This episode takes place right after "Spare Parts". :mjcry:

And I mean damn near right after.

Goddamn this was good.

Watching the Doc start regenerating :wow:

If P didn't pass on this week it would've :mjcry: me.

Next week I'll probably be :mjcry:, especially if he doesn't save Bill. We might get an even :demonic:-er Doctor if Missy betrays him and he fails to save Bill.

Have to say I'm a bit surprised to see a Who thread on here. Nearly 30 years since I started watching it. Seen every surviving episode, the recons, countless Big Finish audios and spin-offs, read numerous books etc.

This week's was good. Great to see the Mondasian Cybermen back after all these years. Shame they have the stomping noise added to them. fukk sake. Also great to have John Simm back as the Master. Can't really be doing with Missy. Just another misstep on Steven Moffats part. The whole Time-Lord sex change thing doesn't sit well with me.

Can't wait till he's gone and Chibnall takes over. Although I'm gutted that Capaldi isn't staying on for another series. It's a shame that he's had so many average stories during his tenure. It's been his dream job, fan since a kid etc. Just hope he's enjoyed himself.

Hope this weeks extended series finale delivers. Moffat isn't the best at resolutions...

Well that was a disappointment. A total waste of John Simm bar a few lines. Bill gets the same fate as Clara. Nardole just buggers off and we're supposed to believe that Missy didn't regenerate and died. The Master has 'died' numerous times and came back. He's already several regenerations ahead of the Doctor.

Still it was nice to have Capaldi start to regenerate in 1986 at the South Pole. Right as the 1st Doctor (played by David Bradley as he did in the 'An Adventure In Space & Time' Docu-Drama for the 50th anniversary) is heading to the TARDIS to regenerate into Patrick Throughton as seen in 'The Tenth Planet'.

Not a fan of the way they saved Bill. Would have preferred her to have a tragic and final ending since it looks like the new showrunners are going to go with a new Companion as well as a new Doctor. Hope they don't fukk up with the casting of the new Doctor and his Companion because Capaldi and Pearl Mackie are going to be a tough act to follow.

Looking forward to the new Xmas Special with the 2 Doctors though.

Yooo that was piff.

I think sometimes we forget that this is essentially a kids show. Bill went through a lot of shyt and they gave her a nice ending, even showing that they set it up since jump.

That ending was :ohhh:

I assume y'all bloodclats all watched that special where Walder Frey aka Finch plays the OG Doctor.

I thought this was amazing, and this season was too.

So it will be the Christmas Special when we see who the new Doctor is just like when the 11th Doctor stepped down for the 12th Doctor?
Yeah, its going to be Capaldi and Moffat's last Who show and they will finally have chosen the new Doctor to film the regeneration scene by then.
