This book wasnt that good. I forgot I read this one till the link went into detail on what it was about.


But as it says Mike had a way of trimming away the extra king BS and highlighting the parts that makes King great.

Man... Watching Shining and Doctor Sleep back to back is hands down one of my favorite cinemark experiences of last year.

Such a great narrative and universe that interwoven 2 movies damn near 20+ years apart

I basically did the same thing the other night. I had never seen The Shining and my girl wanted to see DS. I’m a fan of order so I made us both watch the original first.

Then we watched the trailer for Doctor Sleep I was like “this feels like an entirely different movie. Paranormal vampires?!?”

But Doctor Sleep did a really good job making it work without being overly corny. The only gripe I have is that they forced too many Shining call backs. Especially the blood elevator scene with Rosie.
