@Skooby I put it through the paces. Works better than my old air fryer, and larger capacity :ehh:
Paces?

But I hope it's on sale on prime day. My current toaster oven is about 12 years old. Still works, but I need an upgrade to a toaster oven & air fryer combo?

The figure of speech “putting it through its paces” like putting it to the test :russ:

Ahh okay. What did you cook?

I made those honey garlic chicken breast I think I made a post about earlier, fried some nuggets and some tots this wkend, and tossed some oil on some more nuggets today, seasoned em up, fried em and tossed em in some chipotle sauce. Also used the toaster oven for my protein waffles, and they dialed in better than my toaster oven ever could too :wow:

This is the one I was seriously looking at, but I saw a number of people commenting about the gears that spin the basket being made of plastic and melting after awhile. Keep your eye on that, but enjoy.

:salute:

check the reviews, 98% positive out of 1000s of reviews ... havent had a problem with that plastic on the basket yet. But this company does free replacement for parts and equipment
it came with 3 trays ... 2 with ventilation and one flat metal one that you can use as a drip tray $125.00. The biggest complaint about this one from other people is that if you put all 3 trays in.... the bottom heats lower than the top because it restricts airflow. But that was perfect for me, I put the vegetables on the bottom and the meat near the top... then just watch the food for the last few minutes to make sure its even. With the vegetables on the bottom, they sit for longer with the meat but cook even being further away from the heat. So you get all your food at once. I dont think the basket will be a problem much cause the fries cook in 10-15 minutes easy... The front door pops off for cleaning and if you dont want to use the preheat buttons you can just set it at 370 for 7 minutes to reheat food. I hate cooking and this past few months has been game changing. I just throw the shyt in and walk away. Realistically people always talk about size and how you can only fit small chicken or a pizza cut in half into it. You can either do half a pizza on each tray or just do half at once.... either way I look at it as portion control. Beyond just being healthier, I find that I'm eating a wider range of food in general because of how easy it is. I call it the "adult easy bake oven"
