I’ve got him around 5-6. Because of the weight I put on winning I think the ship has sailed to pass any of the guys in front but thats just how I see it.

Magic wanted to be a Laker threatened to go back to school if the Bulls won the coin toss for him.

Lakers already had a bunch of All-Time greats suit up for them Baylor, Mikan, West, Kareem, Wilt and a history and culture.

This is the way I see it. It feels wrong to not have Bron in the top 5 but there are probably 9 players whom you could have legitimate arguments were better, even if just for their accolades as opposed to their skill (Russell, Magic, Bird, MJ, Kobe, Kareem, Shaq, Duncan, Wilt). The thing is you can make that exact same argument against anyone else in the top 10 outside of Jordan.

Good point. There is no "one way" to measure top 5 players. People use different arguments for each player without any consistency.

though I find it very funny that people everywhere - from the media, to social media to even the coli - made "The Last Dance" seem to hurt no All-time great but Lebron James. Nobody said "the Last Dance hurt Kareem Legacy" or "I can't look at Magic the same after watching the Last Dance"...etc. I mean why bother put Bron against Mike if he wasn't top 5?!

Meh idk. It's so hard to rank these players. Jordan is 1, everything else is up for debate.

This is a list where he is not top 5. You can't argue with this list. Theres nothing wrong with it. You can switch him with anyone 2-5 and it's still a good list. But no, he's not borderline top 5. No one besides MJ and Kareem is.
