Keep in mind MANY jobs and desk work is BS. Absolute vapor ware, maybe even ponzi schemish.
Many CEO's know what they're doing and what their employees are working on is BS.
They ain't building anything to contribute - they're just trying to get bought out and cash that check.
Here's the thing: if a CEO knows it'll make money, real or fake, they don't care.
A.I can take so many people's jobs and the world won't feel much different in terms of products of value because what those people were working on was BS all along.
That's the crazy part - you'll realize most people were wage dogs this whole time.
A lot of people sitting at desks can't really answer why their jobs are that critical to push the world forward and provide value.
A lot of products really are a solution looking for a problem.

Trust me, I am aware that every job that requires a human being is at risk. These things will cause massive economic displacement. But we are sleepwalking towards either a catastrophe or a miracle. You already know those a$$holes will fight UBI or any economic assistance is dead on arrival with these conservative a$$holes. These morons probably will try to convince people that they can bootstrap their way out of the Singularity.

Now if Wal-Mart eliminated all human cashiers for AI cashiers, that's one thing, they will still have customers. ..but if EVERY other company started letting AI do jobs, then who's going have money to shop at Wal-Mart?

Yeah I get you, I’m still going to ignore it best I can, I’m consuming less media and trying to keep my creations as analogue as possible and looking for genuinely made products from genuine people. I get how useful and dangerous ai is but to a certain degree I think it will become more of a lifestyle most of us can opt into vs something most of us have to interact with, and if I do, then I hope it’s on a lower level like the gps you mentioned or customer service.
I liking it to like reverse sleep, you know how many people flat out ignore the uncomfortable truths of who runs our society and how it’s run? We’ll I’ll just do that, but to the society itself. Stay safe and pray we don’t willingingly become slaves to a computer program of all things (which I find funny because people hate to believe in an Elohim but are cool with their fellow man creating ai to control and influence them, it’s almost cuckish to a degree)
