According to Showbuzz Daily, the NXT on USA drew 1.179 million viewers from 8-9 PM ET. It was the fourth highest rated program of the evening on cable television in the 18-49 demo, drawing a .43 rating.

AEW is gonna peak somewhere below where WCW did. At some point they might beat WWE in a few individual metrics (I believe AEW on TNT will eventually get a higher TV rating then RAW at least once) but eventually WWE will pull away...no later than 4 years from now. And AEW will fold like the rest of them before 2030

I dont think it was a wise idea starting weekly live tv right before wrestlemania season, if they were able to start maybe in may when wwe starts producing even bigger shyt then they would have had a longer level of sustainability

...Vince did the same thing except he didn't build it from the ground up. Even the MSG deal was his father and Toots Mondt's thing. This isnt even the first business Tony owns so how is it his fathers money? Even then it's funny how this has been done all the time but is only an issue now though.

AEW wont last and the reason is simple.. The roster is full of indie self marks and vanilla midgets, neither has not and never will draw money word to Kevin Nash. The era of "the wrestler" is dead replaced by "performance artists" doing overly choreographed gymnastics. Same problem WWE has. Nobody out there looks or feels like superstars. it's the best of times to be a fan and the worst of times.

On a Wednesday its... respectable but prob still less than they want. It puts them high on the list of most watched shows though.

I personally dont want them to fail but anyone thinking they are going to someone compete with WWE is delusional. It took alot to do what WCW did, they even took WWFs biggest star Hogan along with a few cast offs and they were still seen as 2nd rate, it wasnt until the perfect story line came that they went to number 1. All this nonsense abour treating it like a real sport will turn more people off when we know shyts fake, I want crazy storylines and dope characters.. not 120lb indie nerds wrestling at 160mph with zero story. shyt is wack to me.
