Just accepted an offer at one company but another I applied for before accepting just hit me for an interview. Going to leverage this offer from company A to try to get more money and benefits from company B should they offer me as well(which they probably will as I’ve done business with them in the past and have good relationships with a few of their former and current employees. One of which is my old manager) 
employment is at will. You got to look out for YOURSELF. The first sign of a downturn and these companies will post record profits because they laid all the peasants off. You don’t owe these employers shyt and with all these job openings due to the great resignation, you can afford to raise your asking price.

You don't think I peep how you always categorize poor working conditions as a 'minor inconveniences' and how you label wanting a job that doesn't suck your soul, as 'instant gratification'?
Don't worry, I think it's great too, I see how big companies are increasing their wages, offering more perks, negotiating with unions and being more competitive with PTO in private companies, keep wanting workers to shut up and take it because that's the right 'work ethic' and I'll keep cheering them on.
People were already the poorest they've ever been before 'quitting culture' started so clearly that wasn't working anyway.

I'm on 4 day work weeks right now. And I'm not putting in any 10 hr shifts.
Granted, i do try to do any loose end work on Friday from time to time just out of looking out for customers. But most of the time I take the Friday off and don't check anything
Definitely emotional. My younger sister quits alot of jobs because she didn't feel like going to work that day or they scheduled her on a day she wanted to go hangout. But she always finds another job in a week and I'm just sitting there like

No one has to take shyt if they don't want to regardless of age.... The thing is, young people take shyt all the time, regardless if its from their employer, significant other, society, etc...... so called young folks high cappin in here....

Thats been happening.
Just because you quit a ton of jobs doesn't mean you don't have a work ethic. There could be a myriad of reasons for job hopping. I do it all the time and ain't shyt wrong with my work ethic. Tech jobs are considered disposal at most companies. So zero loyalty is understood on both sides.

What would be the point in creating any of this if you can just get UBI. You think I'm going to school for 20 years, grinding out algorithms for another 15, and bringing a product to market for another 5 years in order to make your life easier. All the while you sit at home, smoke weed, watch netflix, fukk, and pretend to be a "creative". You really have no understanding how things work.

Because ppl will always want to live beyond their means travel, drive expensive cars ect so ppl still work to attain these goals of luxury. UBI will be soley to keep ppl outta of poverty not live a “celebrity lifestyle “

The majority of people dont want to do any of that. Most people want to eat and have some place to live. If that is taken care of they wont do much above that. You expect the profit motive to be stronger in a society where profit isn't necessary

Again not a boomer. Why do ya'll keep falling on that?
And it's not hate. I literally went from entry level to OM in 8 months because of the culture ya'll promote. My job security is 100% because the rest of ya'll would cry and quit as soon as it rained too hard or you had to stay 15 minutes later.
The shyt benefits me amazingly. I work 5 to 6 hours a day and I still look like the hardest work employee. If anything ya'll are making it easier for people who want to work.
However I manage these people. And it's nice it works for you but I actually talk to these people and know how their life is going. It's not theory. Just making an observation.
