Do you agree with Gen-Z being so quick to quit jobs they hate

Well they are definitely changing the dynamics of the work place which is extremely antiquated.

With the emergence of remote work companies all on the old bull shyt won't attract top talent and positions will be harder to fill.

The system is broken and over due for a shake up

Changing the work place is cool but it still is only going to benefit those with good work ethics and the ability to see things through. Again ya'll talk in theory and I speak from experience. No matter how easy we make things for entitled people they have same attitude.

But it's all good. The unwillinness to put in any hard work benefits those with work ethic. If you do average work you look like a star. So quit, run away and be flaky and let the winners win.

Even the social media stardom that they so desperately crave takes hard work and consistency which is why all these young people aren't popping on social media. They just follow it.

If they were really as hard working as you claim them more would achieve social media stardom. But they don't because again success is for the very few with work ethic and the ability to see things through.

Poverty is coming fast and hard. It has nothing to with quitting but the lack of what it takes to be successful.

I'm one of the hardest workers at any given place and I've quit two jobs day one.

They were temp jobs.. one where I was unloading trucks and another working in warehouse picking boxes off a conveyor belt and placing them on pallets. That job had hella women in there and they made sure to put me far far away from them :mjlol:

First one would fukk up your body with how heavy them boxes were and how fast they wanted you to work. That's some I just finished doing a bid and no one else will give me chance type job.

Second job I was by myself the entire time (no one in sight) bored out of my mind. They were temp jobs and you can always call the temp agency and tell them it ain't for you. Which I did.
What was your role for your second job?

Are you replacing long work hours, no work life balance, wages that can't support living comfortably in your city, abusive customers & managers as "mildly inconvenienced"? :mjlol:

I'd argue the mindset that you need to endure those things is the detrimental one, especially to mental health :yeshrug:
No I mean being told to be on time or being corrected when they make a mistakes. Had people quit for both reasons.

:mjlol:

Yes people quit for the lightest shyt. I don’t think that ya'll really understand how advocating for 'not giving a shyt' is affecting this generation. It's not what you think it is. Ya'll only wanna think about it idealistically but aren't considering real life applications.

How is this going to work. Ya'll don't want to do the flunky jobs now. You think ya'll going to do them when you're getting UBI? :deadrose:
These same men will shame BW for taking publicly assistance but in their heart of hearts wanna be welfare queens. You can't make this up.

No music or podcasts to listen to.. hell nawl.
You couldn't have your phone on you? shyt like that I would do my work (which realistically you don't need 8 hours for) and take a nap.

If you paying your portion around the house you good.. You got some people who believe they should live in a person's basement until they're "straight" without helping out. Thats unacceptable..

Basically. I live it at home, But I actually pay all of the bills here whilst I help my mum set up her art business.

Okay :francis: it sounds like your taking your anecdotal experience and trying to apply it to the whole world. I don’t care about that though, I’m listening to the millions of people online with firsthand video of what they experience on a daily, the abuse, the long work hours. And know THAT I don’t give a fukk about them leaving behind with their managers pissed the fukk off :russ: I absolutely advocate for the new gen not to “tough” that shyt out.

They will have a rude awakening when they actually lose their safety blanket aka mom and dad.

I think it's totally fine to leave a job that is toxic, but if you are leaving a job because you can't just do whatever you want when on the clock...that is a problem. I hate my Job, but I am very strategic in how I plan to improve my situation, they are just quitting with no plan.

I have a feeling we may not see a whole lot of innovation (which requires a lot of hard work and dedication) from gen z. They might be the new form of hippies.

Well, less competition for me then.

Shut ya old funky azz up.. you should be advocating for ppl to force their government to change the culture of “working” in America.. you shouldn’t be forced to work any job just to raise your family in America..Work should be optional and universal income should take care of everybody basic living needs

Y’all claim to be the main ones complaining yet here you are advocating and borderline demanding that another group do all the heavy lifting to enact change that satisfies you….. It’s probably the most pie, non masculine shyt I’ve seen on here….

It sounds like you don’t understand what I am saying. You're more concerned with trying to harm employers than the actual long term implications of having a quitting mind frame.

It's cute that you watch videos. But you don't get to see these BP depressed, poor and sometimes homeless because they don't understand the correlation between a strong work ethic, consistency and success. You don't have people begging you for their job back.

Of courses it's a joke to you because you are reflection of what I am talking about. Self centered instant gratification without thinking about long term consequences. Champion something that is ultimately detrimental to people but it's okay because 'the job should have been better.'

But again, I honestly think it's great personally for me and people with work ethic because we're flourishing. Keep quitting.

I don't have a problem with quitting per se. I have an issue with the 'quitting culture' which is going to make a lot of people very poor, UBI welfare queens.
