No, they're not.

That's never been true - always just an Economics 101 fantasy that hasn't come to fruition.

Workers should be paid vastly more.

NO THEYRE NOT WHAT?

DAMN NEAR EVERY GROCERY STORE,
WAREHOUSE SUPER STORE,
FAST FOOD SPOT HAS AN
AUTOMATED ORDER/ SELF CHECK OUT AREA.

STARBUCKS AUTOMATED
COFFEE MAKER IS COMING THIS YR.

THOSE MACHINES REPLACE PPL.

I don't know about that...alot of this stuff started years before the simulus package hit

my little cousin is 25 and works two delivery jobs through apps...she has a daughter, her own apartment and her own car

my mom and i tried to get her a job with the State, and told her about the "good benefits" and "stability"...she basically hit us with the

Whats she going to do about healthcare? That’s a huge perk of having a regular ass job

Employers gotta step up. This is the side of capitalism they won't like. It falls apart without a strong workforce.

It also means many employers will go under. That's another part they won't like. Everything is sweet as long as there is somebody's neck to keep your own foot on.

How is Gen Z making them step up?

People >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Employers

Gen Z are products of Gen X and Early Millennials

Both are two groups that mostly talk shyt but are scared to act on it.

The Z’s took that rebellious talking seriously and acted / are acting on it.

The delusion you guys have been programmed with is why no one takes y’all seriously socially or politically

I wouldn't tell my kids to be slaving for these companies. It's not going to benefit you.

Smart parents already did that and told them what to do to make money when they need it. This ain't the World War 2 generation when the U.S. was becoming the strongest power in the world and people were paying employees well (white people). The U.S. is falling off. Has a superpower ever fell off so quick?

My whole life I’ve been like that. I’d rather be dirt poor than slaving away somewhere doing something I hate.

Thats not to say I can’t handle hard times but I need to have a good ass reason for why I’m doing this shyt.

i worked in an assembly line one t
and the entire time I couldn’t stop thinking about how much more I am than this. I worked two hours and left in my break lol. More power to the people that do it but my brain is capable of way more gigantic things then fold little cardboard boxes. I don’t even think it’s healthy.

can you imagine? You have the luxury of existing and you waste this gift in a grey factory. Hell nah

Keeping it a buck - - I don't blame Younger Millennials and Gen Z. These jobs be for the birds with their crazy, rigid schedules and cac ass kissing. If you ain't got something specialized, most likely you strugglin out hea. My dad worked at his only job with zero issue for 35 years - - that shyt ain't happenin no more.

With these gig economy, 1099 and remote jobs, man.. if I had this shyt in my twenties I'd have quit jobs mad early or at least went part time.

Years ago, I've quit an office corporate job and stayed afloat by driving for doordash and Uber eats and didn't give a solid fukk. That's how I knew I was done before I went self employed.

I was out hea delivering shyt for 8 hrs a day and that was less stressful than having a cac boss.

Gen Z, props to them, they looked at our lives and our parents lives and said fukk that shyt.

at one point in time folks hard work actually benefited them.

They could get a nice factory job and support a whole family (wife, kids) and they could put a down payment on a nice house.

work 40 years and retire with a pension, 401k, and social security.

THAT IS NOT THE CASE ANYMORE.

People still living at home cause it’s smarter than paying over expensive rent nowadays.

people aren’t getting married OR having kids as much. Cause it’s not feasible.

This is just a byproduct of a broken system

1+1 = 2

and it will only get worse.
