This is the very reason people like yourself don't have common sense nor know how the world works. It's not like "knowing everything in the world" cause in reality no one knows everything. There are things people are knowledge about. Some people focus on sport stats, others on history, another on medical shyt.

Sad part is that it works in many aspects of life. Some of the brightest and talented people(nurse, doctors, teachers, coaches) aren't Billionaires.

Some of the biggest conspiracy theorists sit on Capitol Hill making decisions for the rest of the world. Hopefully when shyt hits fan, people with common sense will survive a little longer bc they know what to look for.

Let's say a flu is passing through whose death rate is 10x higher than the regular flu. If everything is left normal, it could potentially infect 50 million like the flu does, putting 10% of those on respirators (5 million) and killing 1% (500,000). Which would completely overwhelm our health systems and likely lead to many more deaths due to the lack of access to hospital facilities.

How many total deaths would you wait for before asking people to practice full-on social distancing to stop the spread?
