I would actually strongly consider Harvey for Stanton, although the Marlins aren't doing that deal straight up; that deal would have to include like 3 other players, I think. I'm just thinking of including a deal with Harvey if it fits just because I got this weird feeling he's gonna hop the train uptown to the Bronx when he gets the chance.

If they want anybody else besides Harvey they gonna be bums. I'm not giving them anybody else of value

We don;t know how Harvey will bounce back from TJ.
It's highly unlikely that Harvey is a CY candidate in '15, it's going to take him a year to fully recover. Who knows, maybe he can be a star player in '16.
Nothing meaningful will likely happen in the off-season, but I'd overpay for Yasmani Tomas(24 y/o power hitting LF from Cuba) and sign Stephen Drew for defense. Also I'd trade Bartolo for the best package available.

bros, we're obviously trading Noah, Murph and Plawecki for Yasiel Puig this offseason. it's so obvious

I don't think Harvey has it in him to not succeed
I'll take ya plan
I just want someone to solidify the line up
Someone who pitchers are actually scared of

LOL after watching Puig and Abreu, they probably too shook to miss out on another Cuban

Thoughts on that 2 year 21 mill Cuddyer deal? Draft pick given up as well.

:patrice:

I'm not horribly mad given the state of the farm but I dunno. We'll make some trades probably so I'll reserve judgment.

I'm not mad if it's part of a bigger picture. If this is a standalone deal then I got issues. We need to address shortstop immediately... sadly we might have to pay with an arm. I don't want Tulo because I don't know what his injury history will be like moving forward. The nikka just had hip surgery, right? :scust:

Congrats to DeGrom. One of the most likeable Mets in recent times. Surprised at the criticism of the Cuddyer signing by Mets so far. If Sandy trades for a legit SS, I could see this team having higher expectations than the Yankees'.
