Been a while since Reyes had a real beast season, thinking he's gonna rebound this year with at least 50XBH.
No surprise at Ike being DFAd. They're moving Pedro Alvarez to first the question is which team is gonna pick up Ike on that one year bargain deal hoping he can be the next Chris David nd the sad thing is brehs...I still kidve believe he can do it. Even after two years of seeing how utterly butt he had become part of me still remembers rookie season + month and a half sophomore Davis and still thinks that guy exists somewhere in em.

Once I saw that they were spinning the Cuddyer signing as the mets trying to win now I knew we weren't doing shyt this offseason but it may be for the bear. I'd rather keep Flores at short over all the FA except Hanley and esp. over the current trade options Ramirez from CWS and all the diamondbacks shortstops.
The only SS I'd want is Castro(really Reyes) but given the cost of acquiring him I'd rather just keep Flores.

To show you what an overrated hack Sandy is, it took the Mets several years to assemble an OF. Sandy lucked into Largares, I think Grandy was a horrible signing, and Cuddy is whatever. But it took several years to assemble that OF. Now a team with similar financial constraints, in a matter of 8 days has acquired Justin Upton, Matt Kemp, and Wil Meyers.
