Newport News is part of the VA Beach/Norfolk/Hampton Roads metro area. Nowhere near DMV. Baltimore is DMV's lil cousin

Because it's not. Outsiders always want to loop Bmore in but that's not remotely how it works. The DMV has always been the DC metropolitan area and always will be. Bmore has its own metropolitan area. Someone posted the WMATA map and that's pretty accurate with a few outlining VA and MD counties. Baltimore and DC are two totally different areas. We got love for Bmore but Bmore is not DC and vice versa, no matter how close we are

It's still in the DMV to me dammit!!!
