DMV Brehs, is Newport News considered the DMV?

Folks here don't even want to consider Baltimore as part of the DMV which is stupid AF imo opinion because Baltimore is right on I-95 but I'm not a DMV native.

Baltimore doesn't want to be part of the dmv. Why would we claim to be part of a whole other metropolitan area?

I don't think I've ever heard a white person talk about being from the DMV
If the DMV is black then they might as well drop the V since it only includes northern va. which is bout as milquetoast as it gets

Because it's not. Outsiders always want to loop Bmore in but that's not remotely how it works. The DMV has always been the DC metropolitan area and always will be. Bmore has its own metropolitan area. Someone posted the WMATA map and that's pretty accurate with a few outlining VA and MD counties. Bmore and DC are two totally different areas. We got love for Bmore but Bmore is not DC and vice versa, no matter how close we are

When I think DMV, I think Montgomery County, Prince George's County, maybe Charles and Howard County, Washington DC, Fairfax County, Arlington, Loudon County, Prince William County and maybe King George County, but I'm from NY so.

Definitely no to loudon county

Texas brehs can confirm but I believe it's a similar setup with Dallas Fort Worth. Only 40 mins apart but they both do their own thing
