man i couldn't stand that joint. his voice sounded goofy to me until i heard unbelievable and could hear he actually knew wtf was doing. then somebody had to nag the shyt outta me to even listen to that.

That's interesting. I definitely remember that super Cat video, but I didnt know who BIG was at the time. I didn't really know who he was until they started playing Juicy on the radio. Anyway, going back and listening to the shyt that dropped before Juicy - it all sounds top notch to me.

I really dug Wrath of the Math when it came out. I gotta respect Jeru for speaking out on the commercial materialistic Bad Boy formula aka The Shiny Suit era. Seeing "Ya Playin Yourself" on Rap City was refreshing because someone had to question the direction Hip Hop was going in 1996. He's not the ultimate lyricist but he could hit you with cold hard truth effectively.
