Notice how you casually dodged the point about charity, which is what my Nas comparison was about. You remember when Blueprint 2 came out and what the argument was, now you out here using the same nonsense.
I never mentioned charity. I never brought up charity in relation to Kendrick not even once. That was @Ziggiy. I was talking about hip hop shyt. And we all know Nas does charitable shyt as well but again. That wasn't what I was pointing out in the slightest against Kendrick.

I only brought up the Nas comparison because I thought you were angling at when you mentioned Nas and I was pointing out that Nas got criticism for both NOT putting people on and not giving back to the community when the truth is he was doing both since the beginning. Kendrick has also done both, maybe not to the level that people think he “should” be but the overall point is that you NEVER actually hear anyone complaining about Kendrick when the complaints about Nas were loud and clear. Nas just didn’t give a fukk and stood ten toes on his shyt and let everyone else figure it out later. I BELIEVE Kendrick is basically doing the same thing

He didn’t need to refute the domestic violence allegations because there’s literally no proof, not even a viable story.

He didn’t need to refute that him and Whitney weren’t together or not on good terms because she’s literally been with him every step of the way. She’s ON Mr Morale. She was in his music videos. She was there when he spoke at Compton college. She was there at the Pop Out Concert. She’s in the Not Like Us video WITH their children.

He didn’t need to refute that he and Dave Free had static. Dave Free directed AND appeared in the Not Like Us video and he and Kendrick are working on a feature film that supposed to drop next year

So of Kendrick didn’t speak, refute, or disavow any of that then why would he need to directly prove that he helps out other artists. ESPECIALLY if there’s no smoke there from anyone?

Everything I've seen from Kendrick has shown son to be envious to his peers and want a spot to himself. When it comes to Nas. Opposite. Simple as that. All this other shyt about charity and all that shyt has nothing to do with my point. There's alot of people who don't help Noone that slide under the radar while plenty of people who always helping get thrown under the bus. We have frame of reference for plenty rappers Nas has looked out for. Kendrick has gotten help from superstars and I've yet to see him put anyone unrelated to him on in that same manner. Game helped Kendrick. Cole helped Kendrick despite him trying to take his XXL slot. Drake helped Kendrick. The list goes on bruh. Who did this nikka Kendrick put on in that way? Name one nikka bruh. And not Baby Keem or a TDE member.

Calling someone selfish and self centered usually is about that. Given the multiple examples of Kendrick helping fellow artists that you casually dismissed, I'm not sure what else there is to talk about. Him helping his community doesn't count apparently, nor does him helping multiple artists count. Nor does the fact that nobody ever calls him selfish count, I guess huh. And him putting multiple artists on his show at the Pop Out doesn't matter either, I guess. Not to mention multiple people on that stage (and off stage) have talked about him helping them behind the scenes. Before the Black Panther assist, dudes from SOBxRBE talked about him giving them advice. Icecoldbishop talked about Kendrick listening to his album before it came out and giving him advice.

You mention the people Nas helps...what about all the people Nas doesn't promote or do features for, resulting in people getting mad lol. Not just AZ. Nas listens to a LOT of people's records in the studio and gives advice/inspiration. Him not doing a lot of features doesn't mean he's not talking to younger artists. Even with Kendrick...he's had multiple convos with Kendrick about shyt, from music to life. Yet neither advertises that shyt because that's not who they are.

Attacking someone for not handing out verses to everyone is wild. While giving props to a guy who constantly snipes young artists, signs them to slave deals, and keeps them in the studio writing melodies for him lmao.

Breh EVERYBODY wants the top spot to themselves. Nas and Biggie were real life homies and they went at it. Jay idolized Nas and was all but campaigning to work with him on Reasonable Doubt and Nas gave him the cold shoulder. Rae and Ghost wanted to take Biggie off his KONY perch in the WORST way. All the top dogs eventually go at it. For either real or imagined reasons

Now I don’t know about the Cole and Kendrick XXL cover story and if Kendrick tried to snake it from Cole thats wack as fukk. But the rest of it sounds like rap shyt. Kendrick was still on Cole’s album. Kendrick was on Game’s album. Kendrick was on Drake’s album.

And again all of this “help” that Kendrick got was AFTER he had been publicly anointed as the West Coast’s chosen one. Except for Cole I don’t recall too many MC’s drawing for Kendrick. Drake especially was wave riding and I honestly don’t see why anyone even TRIES to give him credit for taking Asap and Kendrick on tour when they were both ok FIRE and the closest to sure things as you can get.

ASAP himself said Drake helped put him on. So I don't know why yall act so disingenuous about shyt like that.

Kendrick is extremely self serving. I never seen him or even heard stories of him looking out for others the same way they have done for him. Especially after he fully blew up. U don't really see the nikka putting people on like that. And look. He doesn't have to. But it's weird that Drake is getting criticized for that. Kendrick has a messiah complex. Tiffany Diamond encrusted Jesus thorns.

It’s unfair to penalise Kendrick for coming up in TDE though. He came through after Jay Rock and was in Top's crib thereafter with Q and Soul. Proudly in-house, self contained. He wrote/contributed to a lot of TDE projects over the years. Which of his peers came up in similar infrastructure? Regardless, he did drop a crazy verse for Flying Lotus and he returned with the opening track on To Pimp. Isaiah Rashad + SZA joined and they did What’s Wrong, he wrote All The Stars. He put Rapsody on To Pimp also. Dedication feature for Nip. Went to Dreamville Sessions and chopped it up with them, uncredited. I know there's more.

With Mr Morale he put Blxst on the album, has Kodak narrating it with a big feature and put his signee Tanna Leone on the title track, who also opened up on the Mr Morale tour. We just had the Pop Out and he had DJ Hed in the mix who most people ain't even know like that. And now we'll see how this potential new album/pgLang art house plays out.

Now don't get it confused Kendrick is definitely still competing heavy on wax and letting his peers know explicitly they can't fukk with him on the mic. At times he talks like his peers ain't even worthy enemies (and the landscape in general). That's also the MC in him. But I don't see a selfish person here either. At all.

Man nothing will ever be enough for that nikka. He wants Kendrick to do any and everything for nikkas. It seems personal for him.

He threw it out to eat off Not Like Us Popularity. Dont mean we was supposed to buy it without you putting the work in. 18k dont sound bad for a Mustard album. He was irrelevant before that song dropped,so to sell 18k is a win
Mustard is also independent and that dude Gordo dropped on the same day as Mustard but didn't chart.

That's a wild statement to make without providing any examples.
