Neither one of these have anything to do with what I wrote. And that article old af.

You said Kendrick was selfish and never helped anyone either rapper or people in his community correct?

And old articles are the best proof to the contrary that he’s only helping his community out “now” as some sort of publicity stunt.

Nah. I said he was selfish in his career. I never mentioned anything about charity or community. Neither did u. U said other artists and his peers. Look. The artists who get the most criticism for not helping are the ones who typically do help people. So they open themselves up more to it. Alot of artists who've never helped anyone evade that criticism. From LL Cool J, to Rakim, etc etc. Cats like that never put people on and generally just focused on themselves their whole career. Yet never got criticized for it. Kendrick. Outside of nepotism and his direct crew. Doesn't really help other artists the same way he's gotten help from other artists in the past.

But again, we’ve got two Compton rappers stating that Kendrick has gone out of bis way to help them in their careers in numerous ways. It seems to me that Kendrick just wants to keep everything quiet and doesn’t publicize what he does for others careers and lives. Nas is the same way. He was getting criticized for not helping QB rappers and then years later every single one of them admitted Nas did a lot for them and they were too immature to appreciate it. In Kendrick’s case, it seems that everyone he’s helped in their careers DOES understand and appreciate it and mostly respects his desire to keep it lowkey.

When it comes to Rakim, you’d certainly know more than me, but if I got screwed over by my so-called partner in the way Eric B did him I wouldn’t be rushing out to put people on either. I’d want to make sure my situation was, is and STAYED as solid as possible.

Nas has publicly helped other rappers out tho. Not even only in QB. I don't know who all the compton rappers are that this nikka helped. But I also don't see them outside either. Kendrick had poppin ass rappers give him cosigns and put him on. I just dont see Kendrick doing the same shyt especially within the last decade. And as far as Rakim. Yes I know him. So imma leave it at that. All imma say is u way off base with ur assessment.

If only he had a Drake verse or something.... :lupe:

the Drake STIMULUS package is gon' be felt by thsi f*ck boys that decide to gang up on one man. All that ego of not admitting it was DRAKE THAT MADE THEM are gonna start getting that rude awakening that people don't really f*ck with them like that. FLOP FLOP FLOP FLOP! :pachaha:

that's why 21 was smart about this. AS DUMB AS THIS MF LOOKS, he's actually the one that strategized it right. cuz HE KNOWS life changed a bit after that collab album with Drake. He's like "mmm, i like this, i like this feeling a lot, i ain't going back to whatever the f i was at" type sh*t :hubie:
Name these artists that Drake made.

Mustard put the album out without a properly buzzing single, so he has no one to blame but himself. Dunno why the Travis Scott 'Parking Lot' one didnt catch on harder cuz I think its dope and has a good video, but since it didnt pop off like he wanted it to then he shoulda doubled back on at least a regional type hit single with some LA folks. Put like Roddy and YG and Baby Keem and some local newer cats together on some sort of dancey party banger like he's known for and get that on the radio before you drop the album. Instead, all he had besides the Travis Scott was a 10 minute gospel video with himself as the rapper. Which was surprisingly cool, but it wasnt gonna cut it for the single breh

every collab that Drake did with most of these artist is their BIGGEST HIT, starting with Ross. Future benefitted a lot from those collabs, Asap Rocky's "Problems" is probably his most popular joint, 21 Savage is looked at differently on a mainstream level CUZ of Drake, all these nobodies that Drake gave a hit to like Smiley and Blocboy. Khaled knows his BIGGEST joints have Drake on it, so he knew better. :pachaha:

@C-Styles

you said made, as if he made an artist. Did Drake not benefit from these hits? Did those artists not bring just a much and In some cases more than Drake did to the table? Who on OVO has a hit because of Drake?
