Drake did take him on tour with him and threw him a few songs, which helped, - but none of that made Kendrick, Kendrick was gonna be a star, he already had Section80, mixtapes and features popping, critical acclaim building, TDE had a movement already which got him signed to Aftermath/Interscope, all that was way before Drake slid in. He was gonna be next, which is why Drake worked with him. That was a mutually beneficial transaction

somebody like BlocBoy or Smiley or Majid Jordan or P Reign or Partynextdoor or Baka or the 'Whah Gwan Delilah' people is the few artists that were actually unknowns before Drake "made" them. And look at where they all are now still... stimulus ran the fukk out and he calculatedly leaves them in the bushes

TheWeekend might be the only one I can think of that he maaaaaybe gets credit for... And if he hadn't broken away from Drake's parasitic ass he would still be Majid/PND status.

but cats like Fetty Wap or 2Chainz or A$AP or Kendrick or J Cole or Migos or Future or all the UK/JA/Afrobeats people he rode - or even ILoveMakkonen or Sexy Redd - they all already had movements that he attached himself to after they were buzzing and he rode their waves with them

Hearing this shyt from a Nas stan is insane. It's the same weird bullshyt people tried to say about Nas because his charity wasn't as public as Jay. Kendrick paid for his high school's music program, helps out in his city, and does all types of other shyt; he has even mentioned it in raps. And nobody can find someone from Compton saying Kendrick doesn't do shyt there. Yet because of a Drake bar you've been jumping out the window on this for three months lol.

You can't find anyone calling Kendrick self serving. He's provided multiple opportunities to rappers and artists. Hell he has written hits for multiple artists. But because he's not on social media promoting albums you're mad? What year is it again lol. Multiple major artists don't promote albums. The only time Kendrick says shyt on twitter, he's promoting his own shyt (including his artists, like Keem). I don't see Beyonce promoting other people's shyt either, or Rihanna. Go scroll through Drake's twitter and tell me what you see: he only promotes himself and OVO artists.

Nas has openly helped a bunch of nikkas and it ain't even in the same ballpark. I've literally witnessed this nikka bring Meek out to shows for no other reason than to show love. Kendrick hasn't done even close to what Nas has done for other rappers and even suggesting it's the same shyt is asinine. Nas been helping nikkas get deals since his first album. Cut it out bruh. Nas has given looks and verses to nikkas u would never even think of. Nas even recently gave a verse to a nikka he met in the mall bruh. Kendrick and Nas aint the same type of nikkas in any way shape or form. Be it rap style or anything else. It's annoying af that yall keep trying to use me being a Nas fan against me anytime I launch a criticism against Kendrick. They aint the same bruh.
