I never said "he is a ballhog for his teammates failures." :wtf:

I said he was a ballhog.

Perhaps his teammates failed because he was a ballhog. :yeshrug:

At this point I'm just trying to make sense out of what you're talking about since you obviously aren't interested in what I'm talking about.

Maybe its because Domo was playin with Randy Whitman, Cliff Levingston and Jon Koncak..

The thing that frustrates me about Melo is how he doesn't have the killer instinct all the time. He plays when he wants to play. But when he does decide to turn it up, he's elite. But it just doesn't happen as often as it should :manny:

He's an elite screr that really can't be stopped. He takes alot shots but guess what?

All scorers do. Who takes more bad shots than Kobe??

Answer that for me..

Ga head I'll wait..

elite SCORER and elite PLAYER are two different things. Why even mention Kobe when I never mentioned him in the first place?

These are the people who will go on and on about his offensive skillset and what he can do. That fact that he has never actually done it is irrelevant to them. It's sad really.

My knock on Melo has always been if you are gonna be one-dimensional you had better be the best at that dimension (Durant). 9 years in and all he brings to the table is scoring and this nikka couldn't muster one scoring title. :smh: The "best scorer in the NBA" should have a scoring title. It's not like he's been sacrificing for the good or the team or anything.

So let me ask you this why do nba players and analysts say melo is the best offensive player in the nba?? As much as You shyt on melo he's a better rebounder defender and passer than durant still so he's not one dimensional just not as good as bron.

I'm not talking about the Knicks. I'm talking about Melo. I think he's an elite player when he decides to be one. He's playing out of his mind at the Olympics and has a history of balling in international ball. When he comes back to the NBA, that same mentality seems to disappear from him. It's like he's content on where he stands. LeBron was the same way until last season.

It's like everyone agrees he's between top 10-15 yet people act like we're saying he's better than bron or Kobe or durant .

Melo so gifted but he needs to stay focused the whole game. I ALWAYS see that dude tearing it up in the clutch. His defense is not that bad either when he tries. Only plays defense if the game is close:why:

Only person who shapes my opinion is me. Do you agree with everything that NBA players and analysts say or do you just use them to support your argument when you can't do it on your own? I don't shyt on Melo I call it like it is. What makes Melo a better rebounder, Durant avg. damn near 2 more per game last season as a matter of fact KD grabbed more rpg last year than Melo ever has in his career so stop it. Durant plays off the ball WAAAAY more than Melo and Melo avg. .1 more AST. Neither of them have ever been DPOY worthy but honestly I don't see what makes Melo a better defender. :manny:. Durant has shown improvement during his career in all areas. What has Melo improved in over the last 9 years?

:ohhh:

I thought he played with guys like Moses Malone, Doc Rivers, Kevin Willis, Antoine Carr, Spud Webb, Mookie Blaylock and Stacey Augmon. But I could be mistaken. :yeshrug:

Anyways, Melo and Nique are in the same boat. 2 dynamic scorers who have never won and never will win a title.

Happy?
