They might not come back strong though , nothing lasts forever @humminbirdin the history of the company Disney always comes back stronger when they're going through a downturn
they did it in the '80s, 2000s, and they'll do it now

I've never invested before though so I might not do it though. Any good books on investing you recommend?
ok well invest responsibly only put in what you're not afraid to lose
if you can't do it right don't do it. start with paper trading. I can't give advice I'm not a licensed investor but look on youtube for some channels and Twitter/Reddit has good stuff. I will say this though. don't listen to Jim Cramer.I've never invested before though so I might not do it though. Any good books on investing you recommend?

Yeah theyโve been around for decades. Despite the wishes of some in here, Disney isnโt going anywhere. They are an American institution.the company may be radically different but it'll take a lot to take them out.
I agree. They didn't know what to do with it. They couldn't decide if they would catalog it or use it for mainly new content. This cause then to also not know who to market it to.I don't think Disney+ was a mistake but I think the way they ran it was. The initial reaction to Disney+ was "oh snap I can watch all the classics from my childhood." My mom signed up specifically to watch Lady & The Tramp lol. Add in the movies from later decades, Disney Channel shows etc etc and it's quite an impressive amount of content. There was no real need to spend insane amounts of money on any new shows, IMO. Sure Mandolarian made sense but virtually everything else? Ehhh.
I would have focused on Disney Channel type new shows for kids and teens, a couple MCU shows, one Star Wars show, and that's that. Let the rest of the catalog carry you. It's not like anyone has watched everything on there by now lol.
