I don't really like Mace because I find him Obi wan and Yoda to be hypocrites but he's a great fighter and Palpatine is just better than him. Palp is like a hundred years old. Mace wasn't ready

I like Mace over Yoda and Obi because he was a mixture of the dark mixed with the light force hence the purple saber instead of the red but I do agree that the jedis are hypocrites. That's why I like Ahsoka Tano because she left and rumor is she became a Quill. The color of the light sabers signify who the user is or how powerful they are. Red is Sith, Blue is jedi or padawan, green is high ranking jedi but white is Quill. They also have low ranking yellow sabers.

Fax bruh bruh. What I like about star wars is that there is surprisingly alot of gray areas. All of the characters are flawed even my favorites but it's like if you say anything bad about Mace, Obi, Rey or Yoda then you are a heretic. Anakin is my favorite but he was fukked up for killing the younglings. Han was just as conniving and underhanded as Lando. Leia was a haughty and insufferable bytch before she mellowed out. Chewy is the only character that everyone got along with now that I think about it

I believe they can yada yada Mace's surviving his fight with Palpatine and Anakin's betrayal. The hard part is making his motivations for going dark for decades while the galaxy was in shambles be compelling and make enough sense for him to still be someone we should root for. Specially because no one wants to see Mace Windu be an old, scared and resentful Jedi like Luke. If they being him back it's gotta be for him to show how dope he is as a fighter/Jedi and you need to make breh's return compelling and that seems hard to do considering the known canon and the circumstances of his death.

It's also been established you can cut yourself from the Force and hide from people who can feel it's presence.


The problem with Mace is that you also have to explain his disappearance, and specially his inaction for 30+ years.

What other explanations need to be said for Mace potentially hiding? The council was overthrown, the Empire came to be, and Jedi were getting whacked left and right. Obi-Wan lives in a cave and Yoda in a tree by the time Episode 6 is there. And didn't Yoda choose Dagobah specifically to hide better?

I'm not on to the books if it's fleshed out there. But that's my understanding anyways. I'm sure if Windu survives for a return, he's taking a similar approach as Yoda did.

Naw....mace was old in the prequels, he has been long dead by the time the mandalorian occurs and that's even if he survived that fall from the fight with palp and vader
