is that really a good idea?

they look beyond flabby and sick

LOL, they aren't going to be fighting and flying ships like the originals. Atleast Leia and Han won't. I think Leia and Han will have a cameo or more like a scene with all 3 as homage or a throwback. The movie will be about Luke, Leia and Han Solo Kids. Luke will be a Master Jedi (Yoda/Obi-won) figure I assume. So if anyone needs to lose weight it's Mark Hamill cause I'm sure he will have some fights. Harrison Ford has always been in good shape, he looked ok in the last Indiana Jones. As far as Far Princes Leia. Well they are saying the story takes place 30 years later. Nobody is expecting her too look like she did. It's more homage to the fans. But damn Leia back in the day was nothing to be f#cked with, she was fine in "Return of the Jedi":

I just realized that Star Killer was an actual actor and that they could get him to play in the films

:ohhh:

but if Vader is already dead then I don't see how they could fit Starkiller in anyway tho :shaq2:

Flashback #fukkery ? :yeshrug:

I live in Long Island and literally just had my power restored 30 minutes ago

start catching up on things and see this Star Wars news and was like  Felt like Han Solo coming out of frozen carbonite.

LOL @ anyone who thinks this is not a big deal...this is HUGE!!! Do some of y'all realize how many top notch directors want a crack at this???

2015 is now the most anticipated summer movie season!

no director will have total control over a project like this, it will be a big pain in the azz

Joss Whedon (he would leave Avengers to do Star Wars IMO)

Brad Bird

Peter Jackson

that's just off the top of my head...won't include JJ Abrams cuz he's in the Star Trek universe but who knows

This is incredible news. It would be tight if we saw Revan and Malak doing their thing on the big screen.

read the thread, theres rumors that the old cast will make a appearance which means no revan, no malak no old republic

It will be a Dream and a Nightmare for whoever direct this. Look how this fanbase treated George. Now that George is gone, he is the beloved creator and all his haters are now lovers and will compare the new director's work to his. If the new director doesn't Deliver the Fanbase will have his head on a stick. Whoever directs this has to treat it very seriously which is why I don't think it will be a young director. The movie is just too big. But anyone acting like this isn't a big deal obviously don't understand that "Episode VII" has been rumored since 1983, let that sink in, think about it. Fans have dreamed of the story after "Return of the Jedi" forever. Actually most Original Trilogy fans wanted Episode VII more than Episode I.
