That’s because they hard to start from scratch with the 3D models. If they get to Disgaea 8 I expect it will be 100% back to where 5 was in terms of varietyThey took out the team up attack animations. Unforgivable.
Yeah this is their Pokémon Sword and Shield. Much of the removed stuff will likely be added back in next game is NIS makes it that far. I know they’ve had issues.I feel like this game is really the foundation for future games in the series. As such I like the art style a lot and 3D models look nice.
Yeah I don’t understand why it runs so bad. I’ve seen better looking Switch games run better on the hardware.Just started this up 30 minutes. Came in to complain about the performance. This runs like shyt in handheld mode, I've seen phone games with better graphics run better than this.
While the first follow-ups didn't quite live up to that initial game's performance, Niikawa said Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten returned the series to that level of success, with Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance -- particularly the Switch release -- becoming "a huge success" in North America and Europe and Disgaea 6 on track to join the shortlist of most successful entries in the franchise.
Messed up part is it's still on PlayStation just not in the west. I wish we could have got the PS4 version of this because it runs pretty poorly on the Switch.
That excerpt doesn't even imply this. 4 is still the most successful entry after the 1st one, and it was only on PS at the time. Five found success on the Switch in the US and EU but it wouldn't have become one of the higher selling entries without its PS4 release, which still sold well itself. And 6 released on the PS in Japan.
