Disappointed at Rock not defending the title in the Elimination Chamber

Usually every year we are treated to two title matches within the Elimination Chamber. I have no problems with them having a Punk/Rock rematch, but come-on they need to make the best of his 4 month run.

Don't give me that they don't wanna risk him getting hurt for Mania crap either. The way EC matches are booked these days you rarely see an epic spot in them. Dwayne would live....

EC matches are either #1 contender or title matches..last year they were title matches. When there's a Rumble winner for one brand, they gimmick up the other one. And the only one that has blame on anything is Vince McMahon..Be a Star..Stand up for the WWE aka my wife...making a jokester an executive, etc.

Wasting another Rock match on Punk is stupid after how crap their Rumble match was. Lets at least hope this one is better though.

I really don't understand why he can't be in the EC, isn't that why they throw in spot bums like Kofi? To take the higher risk moves/getting thrown onto the ramp/into the cage fencing, etc.?

All Dwayne would really have to do is take the odd irish whip/face grate into the fence here and there. Doubt it would be any worse than him having a table give underneath him, or being powerbombed through another like he did at RR.

Yeah I am disappointed as well, would have been nice to see him interact with some other talent, but I can't see him working that style of match at this point.

I think he's crazy to risk his future as an actor. And I say that as a fan of the dude. One botch, if it's bad enough, could literally cost him millions.

Since Punk is going to lose they should have went with the rematch on a Raw (since they won't do a three way match with Cena) and had Rock defend the title in the EC.

Woulda liked seeing an EC defense but Rock is being booked the way Big Show really shoulda been more in his career. Less is more IMO makes his in ring appearances feel more big time. That's needed.

There is no need two waste Rock on a Punk re-match.
