Hes insecure because his limited offense would make him less relevant today, as well as the softer rules. He would be like Deandre Jordan but a better version

In his defense, alotta these point guards we see scoring alot (exp Steph Curry, IT) wouldnt be nearly as effective in his era

I think curry would still be on par. Dude shooting from half court. I don’t see how any era can guard that

Did the 3-pt line exist back in Mutumbo's day? Yes. Then there's no reason why guards like Curry still wouldn't be just as effective, hell, he'd probably be more effective.

Get this silly shyt the fukk outta her dude speaks like 9 languages.

You missed the point just like the other guy who quoted me.

The dude ... lets put it this way, if dude wasn't a famous, millionaire athlete, that voice would be a p*ssy-repellent.

Please tell me what does speaking nine-languages have to do with what I said? Mutombo sounds like a monster; just a monster who speaks nine languages.

It has everything to do with it English is not his first language so like others who learn other languages sometimes the way he speaks can sound strange. As for a p*ssy repellent I guess a p*ssy would know.

Funny thing about this is, Steph is the last superstar you could call "soft" or "p*ssy".

:heh:

I think what he is saying is, without the same physicality in the game, B list and C list guys are look like A-listers. I actually agree.

I think if you can't guard Mahmoud Abul-Rauf, as quick as he was, he'd average 30, provided he was willing to take on that load. It is simply easier to scorer in today's NBA, and players who played in the modern era and late-90s all attest to the significant decrease in physicality, and how it affects scoring.

Still missing the point.

It has nothing to do with language or his accent and everything to do with his voice.

He could be a native English speaker, and with that voice, he'd sound like shyt.

I know other people from Africa, and they don't sound like Mutombo. Olajuwon sure as hell don't like a monster.
