That's how you came to know about Diego? By googling and reading a bunch of articles and decided to throw your kind hearted spin on it?

Mf Diego was my idol before Google was a Ideea. Don't be talking to me about Diego or Barcelona. If Camp Nou wasn't so tall I could sell tickets to watch matches from my balcony.

I could tell you stories about him and Ronaldinho for days. From coke boys to club owners to 90 year old Barcelona socios.

Star mourners, stans after death make me sick:hhh:

Now go cry because nobody in your family told you that you're a retard.

Can you confirm or deny that Dinhos groin injury in his last season wasnt as bad as reported and was more a cover for his coke use. To get some resale value on him that summer.

Man...Dinho did it all in Barcelona and surrounding cities. He loved the Chirringuitos - beach clubs, and everything they had to offer.

They used to call him the Waiter because at his tables he had waiter trays filled with that pure.

I know he did gear, the eyes gave that away and then the fall off and :flabbynsick: 06-08. Like the roadside brothel he use to frequent that was down the road from where he lived in Castelldefells.

I'm asking was the severity of the groin injury a cover up for a failed in-house drugs test. He most likely he done the groin in an orgy anyway.

Castelldefells

:ooh:

How the fcuk do you know about Castelldefels and "La Riviera" jajaja Repped.

Some say ot was the injury, other 90% say they wanted to avoid any tests until he was clean.

Unlike Diego, he was very respected at the club despite his life. He always kept it in check.

I didn't know that they 'disrespect' Messi like that in Argentina. Those nicknames don't sound endearing at all.

It isn't his fault that he's not Maradona. Messi has a lot of ability but very little leadership skill compared with Maradona or Zidane or C. Ronaldo.

Argentina should have picked Zanetti for the 2010 World Cup and made him captain. As a fantastic defender and an even better captain for Inter, he would have filled both vacuums in that squad. And he was in brilliant form too, coming off the treble winning season for us. He completely disabled Messi over two legs in that Champions League semi-final too, not bad for a 36 year old against the reigning world player of the year

They don't call him those names. Sure, messi has haters in argentina but the large part support him.
He's not a rich, spoiled kid. Messi is also from a poor family

By himself? No that sqaud is filled with legends
What legends?
Burruchaga an average player at Nantes, a mid-table team in France?
Valdano who became best-known for his talents as a GM? Dude only played 23 matches for Argentina (7 goals)!

Who else? None of Maradona’s teammates accomplished anything before or after that World Cup. They’re famous in Argentina for one thing: being members of a team that Maradona carried to victory.

My two cents here:

Valdano was voted the best foreign player in Spain in 1986. At the time teams couldn't have more 3 foreigners though.

Also Nantes in the 80s had a very good team won the league 2 twice and finished 2nd in '86

You could also add Passarella to that list and not to mention the coach Bilardo as well.

That being said Maradona was definitely the one that allowed them to dream but that squad was not that bad.

La Liga was far from a dominant league in the 80s. Almost all the best players in the world were in Italy. No Spanish team won the European Cup between 1967 and 1992.

Passarella missed the 1986 World Cup with an injury, making Maradona the team captain.
