I got a base model 3.

Theoretical is 260 on my car but figure 80% yield driving high speeds and running A/C. Good thing is that wherever you go it plots out your trip directing you to Superchargers on the way to your destination.

I have my reservation on a Cybertruck that I'm going to trade my Model 3 in for. I did the dual motor but want to upgrade to the tri motor that will have a 500 mile range
I could only tolerate 400-500 miles...anything less than that. It's like getting pimped.

It's not. Trust me fam. The fact I can just plug in every night and roll out in the morning is cool. Takes a minute to get your mind used to but you will.

Can't go back.

Holding on to a dying model is nuts

Ok, ok..OK.. you got the home gimmick. If it was me? It would be the first thing I arrange for as I left the sales office. I'm all about convenience..I ain't waiting for shyt. Haircuts, pizza pick ups. Nothing.

I don't own this but I rent alot...
The 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid..it was already great on gas, hybrid or not. The Hybrid is ridiculous for cost effectiveness.
My wife's next car will def be hybrid. Can't do all ev just in case.

Was considering getting a hybrid before I decided to go pure EV. Best decision ever.

I bought the home power charger when I bought the car. The regular charger you get with the car that plugs into a standard outlet only gives me like 5 miles worth of charge back per hour. Power charger at home gives me 36 back an hour.

In 5 minutes at a supercharger I can put 40/50 miles of charge on during the initial burst. I've had to do this when I forgot to plug in at home. In Atlanta on my way to work I pass/can goto 3 Superchargers. I can also plug in at a regular outlet outside at work but again that's only 5 miles worth of charge.

And your electric bill goes up significantly charging at home

doesn’t that just equal to paying for gas or nah

Tesla brehs chime in
Huh? I spoke with a Tesla owner, and he told me that charging his car at home costs him 83 cents a day, which comes out to 25 dollars a month. Hardly significant in my opinion.

Yup.. I pay like 3.50 a day but I drive over a hundred miles a day commuting to work.

Yep sounds like my homegirl .

She lives in southern md works in dc then one of their step kids lives closer to Bmore .

She had an infinity truck filled up three times a week .

She said the first month alone was worth having her Tesla .

EXACTLY.

I do miss having a truck. But I'm not counting on my Cybertruck reservation getting filled until early 2024 at this point :francis:. Should be able to get at least 20 K in trade in credit fro my Model 3 even tho I know I'll be at 100k by then
