Preach
Going on a year with my Model 3. Was spending 450 a month on gas driving my Frontier as of last March when gas was in the low 2s (hundred mile round trip to work daily). When it started acting up, I made the jump and got rid of my truck and got my Tesla. Best investment ever. I'd be at over 800 bucks a month in gas right now.
I'm at 32k miles and the only thing I've done so far is replace the air filter on my own and refill windshield wiper fluid.
Got a power charger installed at home so I recharge it each night for roughly 3 to 4 bucks worth of electricity. I charge mine to 85% battery usually.
When I do hit up Superchargers it spend maybe 6 bucks and change to fully charge but I only do that on long trips.
Got a 100 dollar credit from the power company for installing a power charger at home and got 25 bucks a month off my power bill for a year. The difference in my power bill wouldn't even be that noticeable without the credit.
I
everyday driving by the gas station. Hate filling up my wife's car cause she has to use premium but at least we got a Sam's membership for that.
Best investment ever (for my situation with my drive for work).
