I’m sorry, I don’t get the “they did the best they could” line. Yea maybe if they were the first humans on earth and had no idea what raising a child would take.

Like come on you know it’s expensive and your broke, look around

People won't accept "i did the best i could" from coaches for their favorite basketball/football team but will accept it from parents

Two of my peers have kids.

One family got tutors coming over, extra curriculars and vacations planned out, college savings already started, constantly engaged and shaping their kid's ambitions and creativity while learning right alongside them. Child got a better goal oriented thought process than most adults I've worked with lol

The other? It basically ends at baseball practice.

Roughly the same income and job demands.

Many people aren't honest or ready to scrutinize themselves when it comes to raising the odds for their kids, just the circumstantials and checking the boxes. Its jarring to me.

Some people see raising their child as a burden that takes time and energy away from their own personal pursuits. :yeshrug:

and did they fail in providing the best possible hand for their kids to start off life with or not? its a straight line answer lol

there's people out here who will get defensive the *instant* you ask them about their parenting or what else they plan to do - when they don't even read to their kids. something that requires no cost but time is encroaching or taking away from professional goals.

I didn’t grow up in the era of “feelings”. I grew up in the era of what is. And the fact of the matter is most of the people bytching about their parents are well adjusted people who come from good homes. They suffer from a lack of attention. Not a lack of love or support. Kids have tunnel vision, they only see what’s in front of them. Adults on the other hand don’t have that option. They have responsibilities and sometimes those responsibilities trump your feelings. Those responsibilities are what kept you alive and if you’re a grown man or woman and can’t get over that, tough shyt. The complete irony of this whole thing is a lot of kids who grew up with ain’t shyt parents got over their shyt and learned to live harmoniously with them in adulthood. Weird huh?

^^Tony soprano shared your same sentiment in season 1

^^that was the outcome however many seasons later :russ:

good luck OP

I really don’t think people live in reality or maybe ignorance is bliss. Like I just work by a bridal shop and see the dress prices.

But you can get an affordable dress if you really want to get married and the women does.

I have nieces and nephews but I actually was a damn child myself at once. Literally take what you pay towards yourself and maybe do 3/4th of that and more for 18 plus years.

The wounded womb hurts the seeds its births due to the repetition of ignorance and suffering which is most peoples inheritance.

Sad but that is how it is and that is why the world is like this yet no one questions why children are born glowing and steadily their radiance dims until they become just like their parents...

Only to do it all again. Verbatim in most cases.
Because they are born innocent. LOL It’s not just parents/family.

The most wholesome child in the world can get stripped away from their parents via kidnapping, accident, etc and lose their “glow” because of the harshness of the world and other people.
